I hereby resolve in 2012 to make better use of my blog.
I think I will use it as a wandering ramble through my brain.
Sometimes I just want to take a thought or a subject and talk about it.
Maybe it will be an experience I just had, or a review of something I just saw or ate or met.
Right now I'm trying to get through a year of class which is supposed to teach me how to teach to students where English language is their 2nd language.
We aren't exact 'required' to take the course, unlike Salt Lake and other school districts, but we do have to have 100 hours of inservice or training every 5 years to re-certify for our teaching license.
My next 5 year period is coming up - so I thought I'd get all 100 hours by taking this course.
But... I have to pay for it, $600.00 and it is all on my own time - after school every Wednesday night for a whole school year, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
Murray District said they would help with the cost...their idea of help is by taking $60.00 from 10 paychecks

So, because of the ESL class (English as second language), work itself and my promise to all family members to copy all the photos in my parents photo albums, and distribute copies to them, I don't know how much writing I will get down but hey
IT IS A NEW YEAR RESOLUTION!
and at least this year my resolution doesn't revolve around diets - however, I did hear a gentlemen say he was just going to try and do without sugar for a year. I think that is a very noble resolution, maybe I'll think about that one also. I do have about 13 more hours until the New Year!
