What's up?

EARTH JAM TURNS TO RUNNY JELLY!

Ok, the Earth Jam Festival at Liberty Park was a major bummer -so cold and rainy that I just gave up and went home Saturday afternoon. Anyone who came later looking for me... well, Sorry! I am a lightweight when it comes to cold and drippy. It's hard to talk when your teeth are chattering and it's hard to stand when your toes are numb. Do I sound whiny and pathetic? Mostly that characteristic comes from teaching 7th graders in May. I really am about as whiny as they are!

Will summer ever come? YES, It will be spectacular weather for the annual:

Wonderful time at U of U showing paper recycling

I almost felt like I was going to be late for class OR I hadn't finished my homework or something as the nerves began to hit me on my way to the Uof U this morning. There was no school class, thankfully, that I was late for or missing work for because I was privileged to be a part of the University Earth Day. Flattered is the best word I can think of to explain how I feel about all the attention and admiration over my recycled bead project. I love the Uof U! and all its people! Thanks again for the wonderful reception! Everyone I met is welcome to email with ideas, questions, suggestions and comments. bbwright98@hotmail.com is probably the best and quickest way to get in touch with me.
Don't forget the "Earth Jam" this weekend, Liberty Park - by the Fire Stage both Saturday and Sunday!

April and Crafts are in the Earth's Air!

Ok, I just realized I had the Wrong date for Earth day Activities at the U of U. It is THIS Wed, the 22nd of April. On the East side of the Student Union. Come say Hi! 10:30am to 1:30pm! I'm so excited to be back at my favorite of favorite Universities - U of U! Wahoo!
Then, this weekend is the Earth Jam Festival at Liberty Park. Both the 25th and 26th will be fun filled days. I will be by the "Fire" Stage. (I have yet to figure where that is).
Then my favorite of favorite festival is almost here:

The April Rush Begins!

I'll begin April with an "Earth Day" booth at the University of Utah Student Union. Celebrate Earth by seeing how paper beads and paper bead jewelry are made from recycled paper! There will be lots of crafts, lots of things to learn about and things to buy! This will be Wed. April 22nd from around 10am to 2pm. Just outside and to the east of the Student Union building!

Then lets all get together for the "Earth Jam" festival at Liberty Park on April 25th and 26th. This is a two-day all day long celebration of Earth. I'll be in a booth with Celestial Soy Candles. Soy candles and recycled paper bead jewelry - you'll need several of both!

Then, following closely in May is the spectacular: "Live Green" festival at Library Square in downtown SLC on May 9th. This is all and everything with living green! Even great food! Come join us and the cause!

Then best of all, the People's Market begins Sunday, June 14th - wahoo! The craft mecca extraordinaire! and right near the entrance to Salt Lake's beautiful "International Peace Gardens".
