A Drippy Rainy Day at Wheeler Farm!

Best Friends Boutique held their 2nd boutique at Wheeler Farm today. It was full of wonderful vendors and crafters. What a unique place the old farm is for housing a boutique! So quaint, full of memories and yet how grand and comfortable!

Too bad the weather was not necessarily helpful to the vendors. I suspect the weather kept many families from enjoying the farm while the Moms shopped at the Boutique. But I also suspect that as the word gets out and the weather gets warmer, the Wheeler Farm will be famous for being the location of one of Utah's premier Boutiques!

Thanks go to Erin and Norie for setting up and coordinating the whole event.

I think Feb 21st is the date for the next Boutique at Wheeler Farm.

BUT...
Many of us can hardly wait until summer for all the fairs, festivals and farmer's markets!

I have spring fever REALLY bad and I just heard on the news of snow starting tomorrow!

This crafter, the bead roller herself, will wait to be a part of another boutique until spring hits the air. I'm waiting until the "Live Green Fair" at library square in downtown SLC in May! I need lots of sun to get in the mood for craft fairs and boutiques!

So until Spring, I will be selling on Ebay and Etsy. I am striving to add daily, a new paper or cloth bead necklace to Etsy.com and then sit back and undure the rest of winter. Click the links on the right column to get to my selling sites. Or send me an email: bbwright98@hotmail.com

This would then be an EXCELLENT time to book a party. Winter is perfect for parties. Snug in your home with friends, eating chocolate and buying jewelry! Reply with a comment if you are interested and if you live in the area in or around Salt Lake County! I'd love to bring my niece with me who sells "Twilight" inspired jewelry!
(It's Ok to admit you secretly dream Edward gave you a bracelet!) BOOK a PARTY TODAY!

Valentines Boutique Time! Jan. 24th at Wheeler Farm!

Really, really! It is time to start thinking about Valentines Day Gifts.
And what better way than to have fun at a Boutique that the family will love also!
Come join us all, Recycled Materials Jewelry, the Best Friends Boutique and Wheeler Farm, and have a great day at the farm! 10:00am to 3:00pm
Boutique Venue:
Wheeler Historic Farm
6351 South 900 East
Salt Lake City, Utah 84121

And guys, you don't have to go to the Boutique to get that special woman in your life a personal gift.

Contact me via email (bbwright98@hotmail.com) and lets turn your personal note into gorgeous beads for your mother, wife, girlfriend, sister or whoever to wear your lovely words forever!

This is my very own necklace I made from a note my husband wrote to me that said, "To my forever sweet heart, Love T". I cut the paper so that the words in his own handwriting can be read on 6 beads. The beads are sealed with polyacrylic so that last a very long time. What a wonderful way to say I love you day after day, after day!

January 1, 2009 What adventures will this year bring???

I can't believe it is 2009 already! So to celebrate, hubby and I went to breakfast at Little America in their swanky dining room! Then I sat at home most of the rest of the day and began a new batch of beads from all the paper that hubby and I found at 2nd hand store (D.I. is the name for the locals). I got some cool old sheet music, old picture books and old rolls of wall paper. I even got some old discarded children's books at the library that have wonderful colors! So I was like in hog heaven all afternoon.

I think my favorite beads from this batch are the pictures from a magazine of the outback of Australia - t he red dirt and the blue, blue sky! These are going to make a wonderful South Western necklace.

Check out my nieces etsy store: see the link in the column on the right ---> She's selling "Twilight" inspired jewelry like there is no tomorrow! It is all SO clever! I hope she has some left for me!!

Feb. 2022 my grandparents: Grandpa Fryer at top, then Grandma Fryer followed by Grandpa and Grandma Bowen with their family in the bottom...
